THE STONES OF STRENGTH IS BACK ON AUGUST 1ST AT THE 2025 DUBLIN IRISH FESTIVAL.

There are nine lifting stones in Ohio that are currently recognized as Stones of Strength. Most of these stones are not currently used in competition but remain in their locations to allow lifters to travel and seek out the adventure that is natural stone lifting. There will be additional stones added to this site as we come across them. If there is a stone that you feel needs to be recognized and placed on this site, all you have to do is let us know.

There are five (5) stages to natural stone lifting in order to claim a lift of a stone.

1. Breaking the stone from the ground. (Wind beneath the stone)

2. Resting the stone on both legs. (Lapping the stone)

3. Lifting the stone to chest height.

4. Shouldering the stone. (Balancing the stone on one shoulder)

5. Pressing the stone overhead.
